Pixel Fancy (Demo)
A downloadable game
Pixel Fancy (Demo) is a short visual novel about a games industry veteran who still has plenty of room to learn and grow! Play as Mika (whose name can be changed) as she navigates the creative world of gaming, building friendships (and more?) along the way.
This demo is my entry for Otome Jam 2023. (Whew!)
Planned full release is in a couple of months (as of June 29, 2023). The final game will remain free to play, yay!

Just got through this demo and I was a bit sad when I finished! So far, it's really sweet! I'm in love with the art style, the watercolor is so pretty! Also, the main character is the prettiest, love her!

Hi Dani! I played the demo! It was cute and wholesome!
First of all, as I expected from you, haha, the art direction is actually stellar! The gouache/watercolour effect works wonderfully with the pixel-art aesthetic, the colour palette is cohesive and the music is very nice and doesn't overpower the story, as it is sometimes the case in some games. The coding aspect was also very polished, and the sound effects in game were really good! I also enjoyed your GUI a lot.
Also, the characters were all wholesome and energetic! Personal perference for David as a love interest, but honestly, I want to flirt with the three of them (wait what?)! Mika was a very nice protagonist too (I love her design so much), and Claire was a fun bestie to have!
Overall, this was a very fun story to play, with cute and endearing characters, while tackling some themes which speak a lot to me as a game dev! You really did an excellent job and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it!
P.S.: As someone whose handle is "chimériquement", I could not NOT notice the server name was chimera... hehehe, now I feel like I'm part of the game somehow.
